This image was captured in a complete panic… as I had originally planned to get to the beach for sunrise. I woke up at the butt-crack of dawn to allow some leeway before first light, but quickly realised that the magic was going to happen before the sun had even broke over the horizon. It’s pretty funny to experience the photographer’s ‘rush hour’ at about 5am, when we all bolt it down to the beach earlier than planned, but let’s just say I am glad I made it!
