Camelback Shrimps are easily identified by their characteristic ‘hump’, and are often found in small groups of individuals as seen here. They have characteristically bright markings, and large eyes, which is an indication of their ability to manoeuvre in low-light conditions. I regularly find them in a variety of sheltered marine habitats such as rock crevices, overhangs, coral rubble, and small caves.
