The endemic, and greatly enamoured, Australian Giant Cuttlefish. This image was captured while snorkelling at Cabbage Tree Bay Aquatic Reserve. During the winter months, thousands of Giant Cuttlefish will congregate in the waters around Sydney to mate and reproduce. Once the mating season is over, many of the successful adults will diminish while the remaining population return to the open ocean. The new wave of hatchlings will then begin the cycle over again.
